Innovent Solutions has updated its BIRT Training Course to the latest version of BIRT 4.5.0. Additionally, we have added a new section that focuses on the use and creation of Templates and Libraries. Utilizing templates and libraries is often overlooked, but the simplicity and power of this standard BIRT feature is something that all BIRT developers should consider adopting. Templates provide you an opportunity to standardized starting point for reports. Libraries give you the ability to update all reports from one location, taking away a redundant task of updating style changes or data-mapping.
Other changes that made it into the new training course include updates to the Event Handler section, showcasing logging and the visual display of the report lifecycle. Logging is a useful tool to troubleshoot issues that arise in report execution.
You can see the full scope of our course on our BIRT Training curriculum page.
